Job Description

Low Voltage Cable Technician

Electra Link is a leader in cabling and infrastructure solutions. We are seeking motivated installers to assist with the installation of various types of cabling. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, eager to learn, and comfortable working at heights from lifts and ladders.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Pull, test, and terminate various types of cabling.
  2. Follow instructions and directions from the team lead.
  3. Install support structures, including ladders, racks, and J-hooks.
  4. Work comfortably from ladders (6ft/8ft/10ft) and scissor/boom lifts.
  5. Perform tasks in commercial new construction environments.
  6. Operate hand tools proficiently (e.g., drills, screwdrivers, snips, levels).
Requirements
  • Flexible availability, including willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Dependable and punctual, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. or more and maintain mobility for physical tasks.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.
